what's new?
Currently, I am an Adjunct Professor at Belmont University and my alma mater Middle Tennessee State University. I teach a myriad of class types, including a design course surveying Adobe programs, a screenwriting course that covers both formatting and story structure, and, starting next semester, an animation course focused in anatomy. In between my classes, I continue to build my portfolio and freelance.
Ever since she was a kid, Emily loved writing. She scribbled story ideas in the margin of her notebooks and even penned her first “screenplay” in 4th grade (which she wrote in alternating pink and green highlighter). After being introduced to the work of Alfred Hitchcock, a fascination for moviemaking sparked. Combining her love of film and her talent for art, she pursued an Animation degree at Middle Tennessee State University with the intent to become a Story Artist. She now works in the Nashville area with several art and film projects under her belt. In her free time, she keeps her love of storytelling alive by writing (and rewriting) screenplays.
